2011 Building Services World Cup. 11th June 2011. Liverpool.
3rd Time lucky for Crown House NW.
Talking to Paul Eagle, Manager of this years Crown House NW team, before the CIBSE Trophy semi finals, the pressure and desire to lift the CIBSE Trophy was
clear to see.
For the past two years, Paul's team have reached the final only to loose on penalties in 2009 and then in 2010 victory snatched in a fiercely fought final
with company rivals Crown House Scotland.
Although the format of the event has changed from 11 aside to 7 aside, the event is still played on grass and Paul's tactics remained the same.
"To be organised and to play great football".
The early morning 'monsoon' certainly helped for teams which passed the ball. 'Owen Kelsey' Crown House NW answer to Barcelona's 'Xavi', split opposition
defences with his accurate passing. In goal 'Adam Forgey' kept the only clean sheet during the group stages.
