Above, Wilo FC & AECOMS FC teams prepare for their first game.
The tournament draw took place on Wednesday the 17 th June at Anfield, home of Liverpool FC.
In attendance were Flakt Woods, Fans Direct, Wilo UK, ABB, Swegon, Dan Ternent of TA Valves, sponsors’ customers with Steve Swinnerton of Liverpool City Council presiding over events.
Group A; Hoare Lea Caice Acoustics, Crown House England FC, Couch Perry Wilkes FC and Flakt Woods FC.
Group B; Wilo FC, Liverpool One FC, Crown House Scotland FC, AECOM FC.
The competition matches were played at the University of Liverpool on the 2oth and 21st June 2009.
Many thanks to all sponsors, all teams for taking part, Steve Swinnerton of Liverpool City Council, Liverpool County FA and officials, University of Liverpool, Everyman, Rob Manning and Stephen Matthews of CIBSE, Dan Ternent, Rob Stanway of Broadbean, Everton FC and Liverpool FC for all your help and support in this years event.
It has been a great experience to see industry Contractors, Consultants and Manufacturers all taking part, your enthusiasm is a credit to the Building Services Engineering Industry and is a fantastic example of collaborative team working.
On the strength of support for this years competition and all the positive comments, the 2010 event is booked and will take place in Liverpool on the 12th and 13th of June.
We are also considering a Ladies Football Event. Any interested ladies, please get in touch and the success of this depends very much on your support.
